Dr. Waverman will discuss a new type of MBA - the Global Energy Executive MBA (GEMBA) - on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at 3 p.m. The event will take place at the conference room of its sponsor, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co. law firm, 1 Azrieli Center, Round Building, 39th Floor, Tel Aviv.

Courses will be taught on location in the world's key energy locales, including Houston, Texas; Calgary; the Imperial College Business School in London, and the China University of Petroleum–Beijing School of Business.
In addition to shifting the curriculum focus somewhat to increase the emphasis on teaching issues such as project finance, climate change and sustainable development, and sovereign and geopolitical challenges, the GEMBA will be highly international, drawing students from around the world. The GEMBA has garnered interest from more than a dozen firms around the globe, including BP-TNK, Baker Hughes, Pertamina, Rosneft, Shell, Lukoil, and others, which have committed to sending students.
